Midway - Business Card Design

About the Project

The project involved creating professional business cards for the brand Midway, based in Dubai, UAE. The design is conceived to convey a sense of sustainability, global connectivity, and nature, emphasizing the client’s values through a minimalist yet distinctive visual language.

Challenge

The main challenge was creating a balance between the corporate look required for business communication in Dubai and the organic, “hand-drawn” style that represents the brand. The goal was for the business cards to look professional, yet friendly and environmentally responsible.

Our Process

To achieve this effect, we decided to use a textured background reminiscent of recycled kraft paper. The visual center of the design is an illustration of the earth surrounded by natural elements and arrows symbolizing circulation and movement. We used a combination of dark gray/black for the text and a fresh green for accents, further highlighting the ecological theme. The typography was chosen so that the brand name is in a modern, rounded font, while the contact information is in a clean, legible style.

Result

The result is a comprehensive and coherent business card design that leaves a strong first impression. The use of a specific palette and illustrations sets the brand apart from traditional corporate cards, positioning Midway as a modern and sustainable business partner.
