Radio - RDS

About the Project

The Radio RDS project is a digital solution for online radio broadcasting, designed to provide seamless access to real-time audio content. Our goal was to create a functional interface where users can quickly switch between different radio stations and enjoy a stable audio stream.

Challenge

The main challenge was implementing a stable audio player that functions in the background and allows control over volume and broadcast status, without compromising the page load performance when multiple channels are loaded simultaneously.

Our Approach

The process began by defining the main menu structure, integrating access to various channels such as Sitel, Telma, Alfa, and 24 Vesti. The design focuses on simplicity and functionality, featuring a centrally positioned player with play, pause, and volume adjustment options. The website is built with a modern responsive approach, ensuring an optimal experience for listeners regardless of whether they access it via desktop or mobile device.

Technologies and Performance

The platform was developed using WordPress and WPBakery for efficient content management, while jQuery and JavaScript were used for the audio player’s interactive functions. The system is optimized via Bootstrap for excellent visual presentation, with Nginx and PHP used on the server side for fast request response times.

Result

The result is a functional radio platform that enables direct listening to news and music, featuring a clear overview of the number of active listeners and an intuitive user interface.
